The power of pet adoption knows no limits. It’s hard to see who’s happier when a pet is adopted sometimes: is it the humans or the pets? I can’t decide, but one thing I know is that these three stories from The Dodo and BarkPost will have you over the moon just like the subjects in these stories:
We start off with the story of Muenster and his hair cut. After being found roaming by himself, the sweet pup’s fur had overwhelmed him, making him undesirable for adoption. But after a detailed haircut from the folks at Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), this sweet boy found himself a forever home in no time!
The Dodo also has a heart warming story from the UK about Paddy Lawson and his family’s efforts to take in a disfigured Patterdale terrier, Sab. Paddy was inspired to rescue the pup to halt the cycle of animal mistreatment he saw his father commit as a young boy. Click the link above to find out how Sab and the Lawsons overcame the dog’s jaw, nose and teeth problems on the way to finding him a forever home.
Over at BarkPost, they have a beautiful photo collection of a young boy and his rescue dogs. They shots are not only lovely images, but also illustrate the bond between a young boy and his beloved pets. We’d love to be in nature with these two if we had the chance!
